Trump is at 45 in the newest reuters poll, up from 41 last week

trump is at 43 in newest pew poll, up from 40 last month.

His RCP average is now 44, highest since march of 2017.

Using 538's cool tool, I compared trump's rcp avg with 538's past presidents' approvals at this point in their terms.

Trump is at 44

Obama was at 48

Bush was at 72

Clinton at 58

HW at 66

Reagan at 43

Carter at 40

Ford at 42

Dick at 57

Johnson at 69

Kennedy at 78

Eisenhwoer at 68

Truman at 43

So, trump is not the most unpopular anymore. He is above truman, reagan, carter, and ford.

He is still lower middle, but much better standing than his first term where he had lowest ratings.

I’ve long predicted that Trump’s approval would be a lot like Reagan’s. Reagan didn’t really get rolling until 1983. Trump got the tax cuts through and now his regulation slashing is really having an impact.

This is good news, but it should be a lot higher than it is considering all he has accomplished so far.

NK alone should have him in the 60s...but much of the generation that fought that war are dead...

Instead, we have geopolitical open mouth breathers worried about Nazis like Ben Shapiro, and Fascists like Milo

I agree but it's amazing it continues to rise despite the nonstop negative, often brutal, press coverage he receives.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we never see a US President at a 50% or greater approval rating again.
Times are far different now than they were 20 years ago.

Agree. Also hurt by MSM spewing 90% negative garbage that newfags thrive on. Misinformation (propaganda) drives liberal polls.

Thank God, the good news is leaking out. MAGA

This. It's been a negative blitz from almost every major media outlet. His approval ratings being where they are (and rising) in the face of that onslaught is freaking incredible.

In a world of telling lies, telling the truth is the most revolutionary thing one can do.

Fair point about the media, but I bet his own Tweets cost him 10% on a regular basis.

Teflon Don.

For all his faults he has given every non-Leftist a blueprint on winning in politics. Imagine someone similar to him without the narcissism and constant shooting himself in the foot. Lethal.
