No I'm arguing that I discussion about a legal decision means that we're engaging in legal analysis
The problem is that the legal argument is very strong so people have to pivot and try to change the discussion to something else, which is what you're doing. You're relying on a much more malleable concept to try to pivot away from the clear loss on the legal side.
You've also made assumptions like that breaking the law and then thwarting any ability to fix that illegality is somehow ethical. In fact it raises the question of whether this obsfucation was the intentional plan from the outset, which is beyond unethical and ventures into the discussion of evil.
