Ludicrous. Increasing money supply and suppressing interest rate hikes is guaranteed to cause inflation and an eventual severe recession. When Reagan was elected we were in terrible shape and they raised interest rates to something like 20%. It worked..our economic growth in the late 80s and 90s until 2000 is BECAUSE we raised rates.
Sooner or later, rates will have to skyrocket..even if it hurts us in the short term.
