See comments like this suggest that Trump was part of an "inside job" to stage a fake assassination. I reject that theory.

I think:

1 - Guns are easy to get in this country

2- We have a mental health problem in this country

3- Trump is a divisive person

4- The internet is full of false information and hate

5- The secret service was overwhelmed with securing a schedule of daily outdoor rallies in remote parts of the united states

All that led to trump getting shot at - and thank god he wasn't killed, because the buildings would still be burning as we entered civil war
