Didn’t the SCOTUS just rule that journalists can’t be compelled to give up confidential sources?

If they did, I'm not familiar with the case. The Branzburg case from 1972 ruled in the opposite of any manner of protection.

U.S. District Judge Kenneth Hoyt demanded the conservative nonprofit group disclose their sources of the information central to the case, about sensitive poll worker data managed by Konnech Inc.

After Konnech sued True the Vote last month for defamation, Hoyt ordered True the Vote to turn over any Konnech data the organization still had and disclose the name of the individual who’d helped them obtain it.
Isn't Hoyt essentially ordering an obstruction of justice regarding a related criminal case?

This judge Hoyt should be investigated including all email, phone activity, and personal meetings especially during the four hours between revelations from TTV regarding the CCP executive Yu, and this judge calling for investigating TTV leading to their arrest. Another thing - how far has our country fallen to the point that random judges in Houston act in this manner. I hope the day comes where this judge and whatever other mechanisms used here are thoroughly examined.
