The ordinance would set a 24-hour curfew from March 24 to April 3, 2020. During the curfew, everyone in Birmingham would be asked to remain in their homes except as listed in the ordinance.
quote:
When asked about the curfew and enforcing it through law enforcement, Rick Journey, Director of Communication said, “Our intent isn’t to arrest people or put them in jail. We have to balance that and make sure people are complying with the law and the health department.”

Same as in Houston. Similar mayor type yet our city has been shut down by someone in their 20’s. Yes, in their 20’s.

Literally nothing has changed but they can ticket you for congregating with 10+. You can leave to go to the doctor, go grocery shopping or get takeout, or go exercise.
It’s a political move. That’s all.

Woodfin is a liberal clown. I never thought I’d want Mayor Bell back.

This is ridiculous. The virus has been cured. Why are people still panicking?

As of yesterday, Harris County (greater Houston) had 200 cases and a whole 2 deaths...out of 5+ million people
