Hampstead, N.C. — Law enforcement authorities in Pender County were called to Topsail High School in Pender County on a report of an active shooter on campus, according to reports.
Based on live pictures from WECT-TV, there is a heavy lawenforcement presence at the school, which is located at 245 N. Saint Johns Church Road in Hampstead.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries and students were not due to report to class until 8 a.m.
But WECT News reported that there may have been some students on campus when the incident was reported around 7 a.m

We go to Topsail every summer and stay for a week. I dont think they are raising school shooters down there, but you never know.

I think they made that up for the news. I just heard the real truth is it is hunting season and some soy boy apparently not used to hearing gun shots heard them from a long distance and flipped out.
