I predict that your argument that Nadler is a scoundrel will not get you much blowback here.

JMO, due process in this situation should very closely mirror that of procedural due process in criminal matters. Really, it seems that only a couple or few of those are really at issue. Or have been at issue, as the case may be.
The aspects most at issue in my mind, and this would have been at the House phase, are/were: right to fully and without constraint cross examine witnesses called against the President; right to call his own witnesses, again, without constraint; and possibly in this case having notice and access to all available evidence whether the "prosecution" intended to use it themselves or not.

Remember that time you said Trump was a criminal? Pepperidge farm remembers.
And guess what, everyone notices you pivoting throughout your failed impeachment attempt. Remember muh Russians, then muh high crimes, then muh Ukraine, then muh bribery?
Now the only thing you regressives are saying now is, “it’s not about criminal acts, he’s being impeached because we don’t like him.”
And guess what, we’re still waiting on the articles to be sent to the senate. I wonder why y’all keep pussing out?

this mess is more political than criminal?
Impeachment is a totally political process.

the point was about the double standard of Nadler from 1998.
Seems like a pretty narrow point, doesn't seem like anyone is disputing it.

Just a complete double standard by Nadler which takes away credibility from the Dems who say this isn't political.
This seems a bit of a stretch to me that a politician being a partisan hack would take credibility away from a political proceeding.
If that were true then you wouldn't give credence to anything "republicans" claimed. Nadler sucking doesn't invalidate all view points of the Democratic party.

It's amazing to me that grown adults don't understand how our government works.
Most see it through orange colored glasses.

I mean he's had to pay millions of dollars for committing fraud. But yeah he just contacted Ukraine because he just really hates corruption now. Turned over a new leaf. He is a great man now let's just ignore the entire history of his life.
