I can't say I want the city to die but I sure can't find any sympathy to spare for them. I mean when you vote in authoritarian wannabe democrat dictators authoritarian wannabe democrat dictators is what you will get. So while I would be okay if they managed to pull through I am definitely okay with them suffering. They voted for it

This is such a stupid attitude too. Elections of these dictators is a virus infecting the entire country. Are you in Georgia? You do realize that y’all came awfully close to electing the Venus of Willendorf, right? A few more years of unlimited immigration and you’ll be right there with NYC.

been wanting the Fed Gov to decentralize for a long time - put all the Dept HQs in different cities closest to the center of their primary interests - every region of the country should be host to one of the major departments.

We can teleconference these days - e.g. I doubt there are many face-to-face meetings between the DoD and the HUD anyway,

Let the government paychecks go to some of the rest of the country instead on NE Virginia.

Easier to overtake the federal government if it is all in one location.

Too bad we can pack both of them and a big chunk of California up and move them off to another country.
