It's also inauthentic for him to play a ship captain, but that didn't stop him.

Then why is okay for gay actors and actresses to play straight roles?

Keep in mind I don’t care. It just doesn’t make sense. Neil Patrick Harris is constantly playing the guy who wants all the women in the world. How is that authentic? Because it is acting. We shouldn’t be so limited or easily offended/sensitive.

He went on a diet and slow danced with Antonio Banderas and they gave him an Oscar. He has been overrated as an actor ever since.
