Establishing?? You are kidding right?? LBJ did that. Then the Farm Welfare got huge thanks to people like Cochran.

Want to know how Obama could carry the white vote in the Delta? run against a republican who declares he will end farm welfare. All the talk about conservatives would be over.

Pontotoc County is still out and it will go Cochran big. Maybe a thousand vote swing at most.

If McDaniel keeps Vicksburg close, he wins tonight.

if not, we have three more weeks.

Don't think Cochran can win it tonight.

Did you really expect something different? The vast majority of southern conservatives have the same attitude.

MS has benefited way too much from federal redistribution. Mainly from very strong political leaders over the past few decades.
