Five years ago leftists were ready to spend trillions of dollars on “the green new deal”. Solar.. EVs.. wind… Damn the costs.. we gotta go electric.
Even up to last year.
Oh no… we didn’t get the green new deal!! The planet is baking!!!

Now these feeble minded dipshits are trying to destroy EVs, and drive people back to ICE cars, after they have been crying since the 80s about climate disaster.

People should not bomb Tesla storefronts/dealers but destroying a model 3 someone bought because they were the best EV for years is just bird brained. You’re punching down not up (towards Elon). It’s no time to be in the market for a new vehicle either so libs who bought one are just gonna have to ride it out even if they wanted to move on from the brand.

The reason for EVs can be decoupled from green initiatives. We’re going to need something that can store energy from fusion reactors at some point this century. The days of petroleum are numbered because we’re 2-3 decades away from fusion being a part of our energy grid.
The reason for fusion is not even directly due to the environment, it is because the scale of energy production increases several orders of magnitude overnight when it arrives. We will be able to do things we never imagined because we never had access to this level of energy.
