Looks like a lot of fluff that wont make it past the negotiating table. They should ban dogs on OTHER people's private land and killing animals on public roads.

Just my opinion.

I've grown up farming in tbe delta and still am involved and have never known a farmer who though it was legal to do without a permit. This was pretty much only deer were they excluded or something? That's not to say ppl haven't done it without the permit they certainly have

Of course if this applies to
Hogs that's a different deal and sounds like it may

think there is a misconception here. Lots of states banned deer hunting with dogs.

Yea deer hunting is what I was talking about, it's my bad for not being clear but when I hear "dog hunting"
I think of hunting deer with dogs

We have a terrible problem with this but there is no lease law outside the city. You can do something about it but then you have an enemy for a neighbor and he lives there. I don't.

You're still wrong. Deer hunting with dogs is legal in most southern states

I was at the legislature today on other issues. This bill will never come out of the house and even if it did it’s dead on arrival in the senate.

Keen's district is just across the state line from where I live. I just sent him an email asking for an explanation as to why he thinks making silencers and thermal illegal to hunt predators makes any sense.

Republican or not, he's either an idiot or has never hunted in his life.

Sent this to my local gun store who sells plenty of long guns across state lines and very close friends who live in MS with plenty of pull in the state.

I'm still shaking my head at the idiocy.

.it's the only state in the union where dog hunting is legal.....lots of mixed opinions on dog hunting.
I counted 11 but they all have different regulations. Long time ago, I was in a club that had a bunch of dogs. It's lot of fun just hearing the dogs and trying figure out where they are going. Not the harvest was much more productive the still hunting but definitely messed the activity for the still hunters. I've killed several in front of the dogs but I still hunt only now. We had a pretty big club so we rarely got on anyone else's land but if they get out in front of you, it can happen.

We have a pretty small piece of land south of Oxford we would deer hunt on and there was a club next door that hunted with dogs next to us a lot an they'd get on us a lot. Didn't really bother me as I was never a hardcore deer hunter anyways, always preferred birds, but it pissed off pretty much everybody else

I don't have an opinion either way tbh
