Actually she was doing her job. Colorado states that the Secretary of State is the authorizing authority on who is allowed to access the voting machines to make copies. However in Federal elections Federal law designates that the county clerk of elections is the authorizing authority over who can access the records. This was federal election records and federal law supersedes state law in federal elections. So in fact the state should have never been able to bring this case. If there was a question then the feds should have been the one to bring the case. In fact it should have been the same in Georgia.

Also Secretary of State for Colorado has had several incidents of election security issues. She had the passwords to the machines across 34 counties posted online, something she accused Tina Peters of doing. She has been pushed by many to resign. She has said on record that the threat of MAGA affects their everyday life. She has been sued multiple times about mass mail in ballots and knowingly not scrubbing voter rolls of over 300 thousand voters that were no longer legally able to vote in Colorado.

I don't know if this guy is right, but if she is the person responsible for the system and data within. She can't commit fraud accessing the system and data.

How did she get the credentials if she wasn't in some authority of who gets credentials? Did she find someone's post it note under their desk?
