When Trump bombed Iran, all the crazies cried that Trump was doing regime change in Iran because that was what Israel wanted.
Now, the same crazy people are saying Trump isn't bombing because Israel doesn't want regime change.
I was being somewhat hyperbolic
But you can bet that all of the countries that we have relationships have a say in it. Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia being the big 3. We're intertwined with all of them to some degree and can't just go all Leroy Jenkins in there.

The prince just said it's at least 20k dead.
Not possible to confirm what else he said, which is they are entering hospitals to finish off the wounded.
That internet isn't getting turned on willingly.

While I agree to your perspective to some extent, I can think of a number of reasons why Trump did not take military action against Iran.
First, he might have been advised that the unrest was sufficient to overthrow the Iranian government without outside intervention.
Second, the situation in Iran is much different from our intervention in Venezuela because Venezuela is in our hemisphere and there was justification due direct impact on the U.S.; not so in Iran.
Third, to do so would have been an act of war against a nation that has direct support from Russia and China.
So Trump and his advisers hoped for the best but sadly it panned out for the worse. However, the genocide makes it abundantly clear to the world regarding the oppression that takes place in Iran and that Islam is anything but a religion of peace and tolerance.
