Yes, I'll focus on the actual unraveling of issues in real time as opposed to campaign promises

And its not this grand schism you wish for but they are your dreams

It's tactile and being pushed by MAGA diehards like Cernovich, Loomer, catturd, Poso, etc. It's not Leftists, ronbots, or whatever imaginary enemy being manufactured by hopium.

You can't have labor and management on the same side in any meaningful way or else you will get this scenario 1000 different ways.

Elon = management

People bitching about competition and wanting labor protections and living wages = labor

Big tent is better than little or no tent. Just reminds me of families during holiday get togethers.

Vivek and Elon can say whatever they want, but that doesn't change the fact that the H1B visa program is not about the .1%.

The O-1 visa is a temporary work visa designated for individuals of extraordinary ability in the sciences, education, business, arts or athletics; and individuals of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture and television industries.

I don't have time to read 6 pages. If this is a democrat orchestrated op, how was it done?

Did the Democrats force or brainwash Elon to come out and say he wants to expand H-1B visas? That isn't likely.

Is Loomer a dem plant going back 10 years? That isn't likely.

Sure. But we are talking about Vivek and Elon. Theh specifically said it should be about the .1% and the rest of the BS should be cut out

Yet we have had a glorious meltdown

The only posters that melted down were the usual ones that freak the frick out anytime any criticism of DT/those around him is made. Vivek and Elon are lying to you guys. Given what they've done for a living, they know the system well and know the H1B visa program is not about the .1%.

Even if it's not an Op, disagreements on policy within a political party are to be expected, normal, and even healthy. Its the party that demands purity that is a danger to itself.

People keep sayng things like this. The quote I posted above is absolutely ridiculous.

We aren't talking about well-intentioned people, with adequate value systems, who have a genuine disagreement about policy.

We are talking about a not insignificant percentage of the American population who think it is abhorrent for any non-white person, for any reason, to be allowed into our country.

You're not suggesting that someone opposed to the H1B visa program as administered could only do that because they don't want non-whites to be allowed into the country, are you?

Did I say that? No.

There are many conservatives (and progressives) who feel the H-1B program needs to be adjusted. They may disagree how, but they come at this problem not from a position of racism and bigotry. Even Elon, who wants the program expanded, admits it has flaws that need to be fixed.

However, MANY people involved in the backlish against Elon are upset about any non-white person coming into this country for any reason. Elon has come right out and said this: LINK

quote:

Elon Musk has declared that “hateful, unrepentant racists” should be removed from the Republican Party “root and stem” as the in-party feud over H-1B visas intensifies.

You can't pretend like this is all about across the board good people who all have decent reasons for their positions in all of this. That is intellectually dishonest

Yes, the deep state made Elon Musk tell Republicans to go frick themselves and called them racist for not wanting to import millions of indians at the expense of american jobs.

Good reasoning from Socialist Bernie Bros Tim Pool

No. The new Republican party is not a go along get along party like the Dems.

America First is now calling things out regardless of who says it.

frick off with this.

There are 330 million people in this country. You're going to find at least a few of every kind of person imaginable and some that are unimaginable.

But to mention racism on the American Right as a meaningful part of this discussion is nonsense and to raise it as a point of contention is no different than Leftists doing the same f'n thing.

Woah. I've read that the 'horseshoe theory' isn't taken seriously by the super smart people that opine on what should be taken seriously, but posts like these lead me to believe that those people don't know what they're talking about.

Pulling the race card would have been cause for ridicule just a few short weeks ago by the same people that are doing it now.
