Actually Progressives is the name they have given themselves to sound nice and cool. The problem here is that Burchett doesnt know the difference in Progs and Communists. The Progs are way worse. Their only goal is to sieze power by any means possible including underhanded and unlawful ones.

David Horowitz wrote a booklet back in 2009 called Obama's Rules for the Revolution which was paralleled somewhat on Alinsky's Rules for the Revolution. It should be mandatory reading for every American so they will wake the frick up.

Horowitz died a few yrs ago but he was raised by Communists back during the McCarthy era and he started out his adult life as a Commie but converted over to a conservative later in life. His writings expose the underpinnings of the Progressive revolution that has been seeded since the 50's.

Long story short... Communists want everyone to join the collective and the govt to own/run everything. Liberals and Conservatives have their ideals but are willing to work through the constitutional means to achieve them. Progressives objectives is to destroy the system in place by befriending and mobilizing the downtrodden and sieze the power when the system collapses. Their motto is "the issue is never the issue, the issue is always power."
