The funny thing is, I'm not even attacking DeSantis. I'm attacking the constant revisionist history and declarations of poor handling with 3 years of hindsight.
You should go read some history. It is a false perception that seeing the scam part of the pandemic for what it was requires hindsight.

EVERYONE in power did some stupid shite during COVID.
But there's only one person in power at that time that was responsible for the organization that provided the fake science/data that fueled the Covid shitshow. If the CDC handled Covid in an apolitical manner, the shitshow would have been a sideshow, our economy spared, and Trump would have had much better odds going into November.

Certainly Trump held onto his belief in Fauci and others actually trying to do the right thing for too long.
After a few months, anyone with half of a brain realized that Fauci was a tyrant hellbent on obtaining as much power as possible. He knew Trump was a moron who would allow him to have a platform where all eyes were on him. He knew that as long as he said a nice thing about Trump every now and then, Trump would give him more power. He became an idol.
He got pleasure every time a business and school closed. He's a sick, twisted, man who should be jailed for what he did. This was literally his reaction every time a school or business shut down:

Mr. Trump publicly attacked Mr. Kemp: “He went on the news at 5 o’clock and just absolutely trashed me. . . . Then the local media’s all over me—it was brutal.” The president was still holding daily press briefings on Covid. “After running over me with the bus on Monday, he backed over me on Tuesday,” Mr. Kemp says. “I could either back down and look weak and lose all respect with the legislators and get hammered in the media, or I could just say, ‘You know what? Screw it, we’re holding the line. We’re going to do what’s right.’ ” He chose the latter course. “Then on Wednesday, him and [Anthony] Fauci did it again, but at that point it didn’t really matter. The damage had already been done there, for me anyway.”
Trump is a piece of shite

What was “the damage” he’s referencing here?

When is the 3 year anniversary for DeSantis attempting to close the state border for interstate commerce/travel?
Wasn’t it about a 10 week closure that was enacted at the very beginning of the pandemic, when everybody was in the dark about Covid?
Seems to me that the Governor showed an ability to make decisions on the information available, worked on consulting experts, and then was mature enough to rescind his order.

How did Trump not react correctly with all we know now?
Oh wait, that was then.
Oh wait, that was then.

The excuses they've given..
1) He was fooled because he was an outsider
2) He trusted the people he hired...
3) Everyone was against him!
I'd never vote for a damn retard who was that weak.
