The whole “you can’t melt steel with jet fuel” argument has always bothered me. Given the right environment and airflow you can create very high temps in an enclosed space with almost any fuel. There are forges that use wood to meld steel - so I don’t get the argument.
It's a terrible argument. Under normal conditions jet fuel cannot melt steel however under the right conditions if certainly can weaken it to the point of failure.

I'm not saying the government orchestrated 9/11.. but that they probably let it happen to garner support for a middle east campaign.
What happens to the price of oil in 2001 if UBL instigated an Islamic uprising against the Saudi royal family?
What would happen to our economy in 2001 (before fracking) if the flow of Saudi oil stopped, indefinitely?
We probably knew something was up, the question is who knew (including certain people who "took the day off") when did they know, how did they know, and did they have any idea of how this something would be carried out? Regardless, for some reason, we needed boots on the ground in the middle east.
Art imitates life. Watch the pilot episode of "Seven Days" and tell me that we shouldn't have had every flight school in the US being watched.
I'll save you an hour, terrorists pack a C-47 with toxic gas and fly it into the White House. This was in 1998.

It's ridiculous how well those savages exploited our stupidity.

I think the “art students” were some of those who were arrested
They were not. They were members of an Austrian art group called "gelitin".
It was for a project called "The B-Thing"
All of the members of the group are known and still free as can be.
They even published the book with all their photos.

Nope, do us all a favor and think for yourself. Why did building 7 fall at free fall speed? I don't know but I'm not giving our gment the benefit of the doubt, they lost that
Understood. Have you given any thought to the magnitude of people involved to make something like this happen? We live in an age where people go home daily and tell facebook about everything they did during the day. Can you imagine how unrealistic it would be to think you could keep all those people quiet for 20 years???? Especially in this political environment where politicians and G men release "secret" documents on a weekly basis.
No, I just can't believe they could have orchestrated that type of event without people spilling the beans.

All I have said in this thread is Building 7 fell at free fall speed. I haven't claimed any conspiracy. I don't know what it would take or how many people it would take. I honestly don't know what happened on 9/11, the only thing I know is that Building 7 fell at free fall speed and there has been no explanation given. If it was brought down they should tell us why. If it wasn't brought down they need to explain why it fell and why it fell at free fall speed.

They have explained it.

Now you can choose to not believe their explanation, many people have, but your contention seems to be that no one has ever given an explanation.
They have.

Here is an interesting aerial photo 5 days after 9/11. What kind of material can remain that hot for five days? Seems as if you would need an initial temperature a lot higher than jet fuel and office furniture could provide (in the case of WTC 7 just office furniture).
Why doesn't WTC 5 and 6 NOT have these signatures especially WTC 6? Both WTC 5 and 6 were on fire but did not collapse?
Does collapsing add some special energy properties to the surrounding environment or could it be some other material that burns around 4000 degrees F and perfectly mimics traditional building materials?
Hmmm? So many questions.

Found out last weekend that my father in law is a borderline truther. Lost a little respect for him TBH.

Don't hate on people just because they ask questions.

I think the end game of 9/11 was a police state and total control of our lives. The Patriot Act was the start of that.

We have a big bonfire at my in laws ranch every new years that has hot coals
and is still smoking for 3 days. And that's just old trees lit with diesel fuel.

NIST had an official investigation and released a report on building 7. Literally every truther myth has been debunked.

Wouldn't things insulated by the rubble remain hotter than things closer to the outside?
Ever have a bonfire?

Happy you are satisfied.
But I'm still confused of how cold the fires were at WTC 5 and 6.

Were they still burning 5 days after?
