The virus is real (and dangerous). Just like the flu is real and dangerous. Just like malaria is real and dangerous. Just like ... (you get the picture).
The media hysteria directed at Trump is "man-made", taking advantage of a crisis (and, frankly, both dead Americans and the live, panicky, dangerous ones) for purely political benefit.
It is not TDS to think this way. In fact, it is a sign of common sense.

I think it should be up to the vulnerable populations to protect themselves, or those in charge of said populations. Didn't work out so well for those aged people in that home in Seattle, but c'est la vie.
This is like the start of the spread of AIDS. Gays and IV drug users were spreading it like wildfire, but they didn't want to be told what to do with their lives, so here we are. No matter how much we're told that all of us are at risk, it is still spread PRIMARILY by those two groups.
This is very much like that. Might I get it? Sure. Will I die from it? Not even remotely possible since I am healthy.
The only old people I come in contact with I only get close to once in a while, but my whole life has been put on hold because of this crap.
