This Louisiana Supreme Court Race is a joke

Let's try to recap. Two "Republicans" (one suspect) are running for a Supreme Court seat. Both are current appealate court judges.
1) A sitting Supreme Court justice has been alleged to have attempted to bribe a city councilman to support a particular candidate in the race. This was a subject of a sealed complaint, which was leaked.
2) A complaint was made about a photo in which one candidate had his picture taken with Rispone at a state GOP rally. That complaint was also sealed... and was leaked.
3) A law firm is donating mid-six figures to PACs who of course like all PACs have no ties to a candidate, but sure are running commercials friendly to one candidate and against the other
4) One of the members of the Louisiana Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee was listed as a co-host for a fundraiser... for one of the Judicial candidates
Judges - for obvious reasons - have limits placed on what they can and can not do in a campaign... limits that other elected official candidates do not. However, these don't seem to be working and are a joke. If we are going to elect our judges, let's stop kidding ourselves, and just start treating these races by the same rules we treat all campaigns.

Will Crain is the candidate that needs to win this race.
Hans Liljeberg is the one that's supported and funded by GumboPac, trial lawyers and JBE as well. They believe that they can get a majority on the state supreme court with Liljeberg and get a big payday against oil and gas.
Vote Crain.

Can you put Louisiana Supreme Court in the title? Most of us will have no idea wtf you're talking about until we see mention of Rispone and Louisiana.

Done... I keep forgetting that since this is an LA message board, it's not obvious =)

Right, because everyone knows that U.S. Supreme Court justices are elected.

Ok, ok, this could be another state. Forty lashes.
