You're missing the point: the authoritarian left doesn't care whether the vaccine prevents the spread, in fact it serves their purpose even better if it doesn't. They're all about the subjugation of the masses. The vaccine mandate is but one means to that end. When the vaccine predictably fails, they can unveil their next step in the tightening grip of commu-leftists control.
