Unfortunately yes. The numbers grew exponentially during the Saban years. Its probably 70-30 out of state vs in state.

She learned to be a chameleon to stances that would make her incredibly popular and wealthy.
I don’t think she’s a complete moron but I do think she originally had a lot of apparatus around her helping her develop the young smart conservative stance.
At this point I don’t know if she knows what she believes or if it’s just momentum and lack of guardrails and a person that has good feel for where attention is able to be found

Oversimplified it seems like she was just the best testing young charismatic black woman that they could commit to going all in for the roll
She didn’t have any real conservative tie out - just suddenly did a full 180 on her politics and immediately became a national icon. Never understood a coherent path from A to B other than she started with some digital savvy and there was a vacuum where having a black female conservative was a great foil to the lefts diversity push and she was a face that could deliver some baseline commentary without the same backlash the left would put on a white guy during peak woke…. And that vacuum made he huge overnight. Everyone just ate up her “oh I just realized the left sucks and the rest of my race needs to realize it too”
She’s clearly got some talent and intelligence but ironically where a lot of her peers needed to pair tremendous IQ and long developed academic stances along with talent on camera - she got away with the fast track and it seems the bills coming due for that
