No, I just finished looking it up. The town that she bought, along with 20 others was a town called Braselton Ga. They gave 20 million for 2,000 acres, then went bankrupt soon after and sold the whole place for 1 million.

I have nothing negative to say about this. Sure, it kind of appears to be a throwback to segregation but there are upsides. If 19 black families want to invest in their own little community, more power to them. I believe there is something about putting your own money into owning something that makes you appreciate it a bit more. You want to make it better, while at the same time protecting what you've worked hard to achieve. I hope they are successful and it sets an example for others in the black community to follow.

This sounds racists to me. Will they be upset if whites or Hispanics come in waking them up with speakers and loud music? Will they allow whites or Hispanics to walk on their sidewalks or streets at night?
90 acres really isn’t that much land. It can fit 19 families comfortably but it’s barely enough to be a “village.”
If whites, Asians, or Hispanics did this people would be pissed.

If this is town full of middle tonuooet middle class black folks that want to get away from the scum in their neighborhoods... I don't care one bit. But do they have any idea how much it's going to cost to install all the necessary infrastructure to make a town out of nothing????
If they build some kind of free public housing, the drugs and crime will inevitably infiltrate and destroy the town.
If they keep it like a suburb of well off folks with strong nuclear famalies with kids... It may make it.
But where are they getting their water? Where is their sewage going? Who's building the roads?
Oh yeah, and who's funding the police? Or the fire dept? Or maybe they should just advertise that they don't have a PD and watch every criminal within 100 miles steal them blind.
Is the tax rate going to be 90% to pay for all of this... On 19 famalies??

Well, if a whole group goes in, and buys a chunk of land together, and then divide it up between themselves, that's fine. When 1 family decides that they want to sell though, it would be illegal to only sell to a single race.
