I don't know if he is making too big a deal about all this or not.

Maybe someone from Va. can chime in.

Virginia is always tough but it’s going to be really tough going forward but for good reasons.. the government addiction and ideals is layered deep in VA with their relationship with DC

Youngkin, like Trump was the exception. The GOP, as usual, probably has not put the actual work in.

Pretty much because our state is overrun with liberals in every facet of gov't, they get away with cheating here and we are tied to CA policies here in many ways. Spanberger and crew have a woke idea for the state and likely the voting power to ensure it happens.
Meanwhile the Reps in the state are too busy fighting over making sure pot isn't legal, closing down vape shops and fighting fricking gaming machines, which all tie together for consumers and business owners.Youngkin pissed a lot of folks off with the about face regarding weed. Republicans will pay for it in November. News for you, lots of card carrying Republicans that smoke too.
Though honestly that issue would never cause me to not vote or vote blue but I'm not everybody. It's the failure to read the room by our leadership that is frustrating. You have to give a little to get a little. Pissing off the working man by taking away his pleasures isn't the way to endear yourself. Taxes frick us all no matter who's in charge in VA so it's less an issue. The average voter.

Northern Virginia is full of federal employee leftist weirdos. They ruin all state wide elections

Virginia has two Democratic senators and hasn’t voted for a Republican president since W. Over half of the Congressional districts are Democratic and has elected Democratic governors for most of its history. Virginia has been a lost cause for a while

They were lucky to have Youngkin. Tough to win in a state full of gvnt employees.

If Swampy Spanburger goes too far left he will have a good chance in ‘30.

scott presler will help flip NJ next. he may need to start an offensive ion VA also. that guy needs to scale up his business. Trump should be funding presler with millions of dollars to hire a ground army.

Both Virginia Houses are Democrat majority. When Governor Blackface (Northam) was in office, he and his fellow Democrats enacted legislation to tie Virginia to California's EV and pollution laws. Youngkin has since revoked that agreement, but...the Dems have not given up on it. Only Youngkin's veto powers have postponed the Dem's game plans for Virginia. The Dems have tried to change Virginia's CC laws several times to NOT recognize CC permits from other states. Doing so would kill the reciprocity agreements we now have with most states and their CC permit holders. NOVA is the thorn in the side of Virginia conservative policies and voters. There are just too many of THEM compared to US statewide. That would change IF more conservative Virginians went to the polls and voted. I don't know how else to change things. Those conservatives who don't vote must like being fricked over by the Dems and NOVA. I know I sure don't.
