This all stemmed from a community rioting due to false information that a black man was shot in the back just for the fact that he was a black teen.

Stealing from local retailers is not an acceptable libertarian response to what is perceived as police overreach.

Libertarians go to the govt buildings, not the shoe store.

Your expectations were met!

Sadly you ignored the fact.

Well, those darn fact keep knocking the big gov't over-reach out of the headlines...

You must simply be reading thread titles and not the actual content of the threads.

The whole militarization of police was probably the first thing discussed on this board when the incident happened. It is the one unifying topic on this board.

Since then rioting and looting has escalated, the media has begun their usual spin, and the DOJ has gotten involved, so yes race is being discussed.

Why does it seem like so many supporters of individual freedom have gone silent or flipped sides when Big Brother isn't after them?

"one side seems right until the other speaks"

Media and Black America say the boy was shot cold blood by a white cop and "We are not stopping until the correct verdict is made" .

the cops/autopsy report says:

1. Brown smoked pot that day
2. He robbed a store that day
3. He pushed the little man working the store that day
4. He disobeyed an officer's request
5. He reached into the cops vehicle and assaulted the officer
6. He tried to get the officers gun, gun went off
7. He taunted the officer and began to run at him while facing gun point.
8. Brown also has a 2nd degree murder charge on his record..

98% of Americans would not do or be involved #2-#8...

Brown just happens to be black...

Sorry, but this isn't about color...but the media is making all about color

The journalist on MSNBC is spewing "the officer must be arrest for murder and there will be unrest until an arrest is made"

That woman should be put in prison for making such inaccurate and inflammatory comments that are in my judgement blatant lies or at the very least complete ignorance that is divisive and very damaging to this community.

She is throw gas on the situation

Ed Shultz is like "thanks for the update"

The unthinking left in this country is absolutely batshit crazy. Its scary to watch. Things like this make me genuinely wish we'd go ahead and divide this country up because I don't want to live in the same country as these assholes.

Civilization is not by them or for them.

That day, or was it in his system? I think either is irrelevant tbh, but just wanted to clarify.

I have to disagree! Start a thread about how these criminals in WACO shot and killed a federal agent trying to serve them and the government surrounded them for over 50 days begging them to let the women and children go and how tear gas from the govt resulted in fires that killed all inside and you'll find almost 100% support for the "victims" and criticism of the govt.

But then again let it be in Gaza or Detroit and those women and children become "human shields" and the people are thugs and terrorists and those in authority can do no wrong.

It all depends on perspective....

And color.

Can you explain why an illegal substance is irrelevant to Mike Brown's character and actions that day?

Can you explain why many blacks are rushing to defend and honor a young black man that had robbed a store, assaulted an officer and oh btw has a 2nd degree murder charge on his record? Why would anyone honor that person?

and he liked dope...

I am losing respect for many Americans that won't ask basic elementary questions like "how did Brown get into this situation?"

Instead, people start with "Why was he shot cold blood 6 times, "

THAT ISN'T WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

white people don't defend and riot over criminals who were shot... I have no idea why blacks aren't asking questions that are relevant if they really seek justice.

it's like justice to them means ending this white cops life in prison. Really? based on what evidence you find that justice?

Why would a policeman just shoot any person cold blood without good reason? He/she wouldn't....so back up and ask the right questions...what started this ordeal?

put the pieces together before you rush to judgement.

Sooo I'll try one more time: that day, or was it in his system? Just trying to clarify, no need to go on a huge diatribe.

I am just upset how badly CNN and MSNBC are butchering this case right before our eyes.

Their questions raise more mistrust and doubt about police

The whole thing is ginned up!!!!

Character assignation on Brown for showing him doing crimes

How lame and low do you have to be to actually let that come out of your mouth?

Sorry but acting like a thug and getting caught is a justified "Deal with it"

I just turned CNN off. It's pathetic. They love this shite. It's so one-sided.

I prefer to watch the live feeds. They show what's really going down.
