I was hoping for something more substantive, as the initial claim of TJ's direct paternity and the rebuttal offered here by Turner are still based on circumstantial evidence.

I don't understand the deception or ignorance here. This is a market and actors are making decisions based on artificial manipulation by the government.
But that doesn't change the fact that given these conditions, the only way to get those workers in the door tomorrow is by throwing more money at them.
It's infuriating, but it's true.

What? Do you understand the DNA evidence? The only conclusion that you can assert with certainty is that a person with the Jefferson family Y-haplotype fathered a child with Sally Hemings in 1807. I'm suggesting that what you choose to believe after that point is based on circumstantial evidence, for both TJ's paternity, or for the party-uncle's paternity. Turner's claims aren't that strong, but suggesting they lack strength isn't support for the opposite claim, since the paternity in this instance isn't limited to two people.
There are definitive DNA tests to determine paternity between siblings, but that route is obviously limited in this case.
