Keep laughing all you want. It's normally what people do when they are in the first stages of denial.
Your little plan isn't working and in short order you will finally accept you were on the wrong side of history. Again, I couldn't care less.

Where are the slaves today? Seriously, stay in denial. Your party has no message. It is dead. And we don't care.

Like I said, I much prefer and appreciate the open racists that take pride in it(or stand in defense of them which makes you no different). Versus the pussies that just like to nudge and whisper about it when the coast is clear.
And I also appreciate the indirect admittance that Trump is a signal and emboldens these type of people. Most of the time Trumpkins do contortionist acts to try and deny the racist undertones of a lot of his rhetoric. Nice to see an open acknowledgement of it besides hiding behind all the dog whistles.

And yes I'm defending them. Just like I defended Colin Kaernick's actions for sitting on his arse during the anthem. IT IS THEIR RIGHT!
I'm sorry you are too much of a cuck to be triggered so bad right now. It's got your feels so rattled that the only thing you can do is shout "Racism!"
But you've done it so much over the last 12 years, no one is listening....

Tbird, you are one of my favorite posters on this board and I think you are a great man, husband, and role model. And nothing you have said in this thread has changed my opinion one bit, but I wish you could see things from my point of view just like you probably wish that I and many others could see things from yours.
The political leaders of the South left the union to protect their property and livelihood.(black people held in bondage against their will and in many instances treated worse than livestock). An evil stain on our country's history perpetrated against your race. I understand why you hate those power holders. I detest them. It's person to me because one of the men who aided in this was my distant grandfather, President Jefferson Davis.
But when those men in power took the southern States out of the union they also took the citizens of those States with them. See in those days we were more grounded and honor bound to our homes, our land and families. Everything we ever knew was just within a 50 mile radius. We felt more loyalty to Alabama, to Virginia, or to Louisiana than we did to Washington DC. So when the now foreign (in a blink of an eye) country invaded our land we fought back. And we fought back hard. Clawing tooth and nail losing everything we had to try to defend our land from an invader that pillaged and destroyed that land.
1.2 million boys wore the grey and fought for the Confederacy.(if I remember correctly). Over 300,000 died fighting to protect their land. This land where I'm standing here in Alabama and where you are in Texas.
They sacrificed everything for a cause they believed in, unfortunately that cause was based on a lie. Based on greed and evil.
No sir, I do not share your opinion of "frick the Confederacy". But I understand why you are correct and just in feeling that way.
I just hope that you can understand why I honor the men that fought that horrible fight.
The horrible fight that was based on a lie.
The horrible fight that I'm glad that the Confederacy lost.

Now that is an incoherent, histrionic, fearful melt all rolled into one.
Comedy gold.

I don't know if you are just projecting your arse off onto me and other posters, but I am completely calm. And the other poster you are responding to seems pretty calm as well.
You are the only one that seems to be driven to typing in all caps and spazzing out in your responses.

Derp. Dude you're a clown show. I capitalized a few words for emphasis and I'm the one spazzing out?
You're getting rattled AF over a bunch of idiots marching about a damn statue!
Then you want to knight for other posters in the thread to try and add to your echo chamber. You're a joke man.

Spazzing out, triggered, projecting, IDK, I'm not the one who can't seem to type straight.

So, you're going after my typing skills on my iPhone?
Lmao. Ok. You win.
ETA I don't know what's more fun to watch. This melt of yours or the automatic upvotes you give yourself.
Keep patting yourself on the back there, shorty.

That's me. Just your average Nazi Knighter.
Have you been to Charlottesville?
Have you viewed the UVa campus from slaveholder Jefferson's (aka author of the Declaration of American Independence and founder/architect of the University of Virginia) rape lair (aka Monticello)?
Have you ever been to sites in the area such as fellow slave holder (aka father of the Constitution) James Madison's home,
or Civil War battlefields such as Cedar Mtn,
the Wilderness,
Spotsylvania,
or Chancellorsville?
Have you?
Because if you have, and if you understand the relevence of those sites to Virginia and the US, I am appalled you'd address it the way you are, even trolling.
Despite neorevisionism, those are each sites indicative of history which for Virginians should be special. They represent people, places, and pride upholding what was the richest and most important state of our founding as a nation.
To characterize reminders of that history in the way the mayor did is flatly ignorant, inflammatory, and divisive.

You're intellectually dishonest if you cannot admit that the politicians in these towns give a different sentiment to the leftist rallies, marches, movements than they do with the right.
Moving a March because you don't like the message isn't constitutional.
