Thibodaux Doctor Speaks Out Against Vaccine At LSU

Anyone know if this is real?
From Dr Greg Chaisson:
I’m writing to you as both a parent of an LSU student and as a primary care Internal Medicine doctor. I’ve been on the front lines of this Covid pandemic for the past year and a half. I’ve taken care of hundreds of Covid patients in clinic and in the hospital. I don’t take this lightly.
It’s become clear in my practice and through studies coming out of this country, Israel, England, Iceland and others that this virus is being spread through vaccinated people as much as the unvaccinated. Your policies concerning testing and vaccines are already outdated. Other schools are beginning to realize this. LSU needs to be a leader on this front.
Many of the unvaccinated students and staff have had Covid and now have very good immunity, maybe more effective than the vaccine. Don’t discount this. You should also realize that the current vaccines may be creating antibodies that are already outdated and less effective against the new variants. Pushing this on students is not wise and may be dangerous, especially in light of the documented complications of the vaccines. We’ve seen cases of heart inflammation and clotting issues. You will be risking legal liabilities, and these will increase as time goes on.
Now is the time to rethink your policies.
The vaccine will not stop Covid spread.
Time will prove that this is true. You need to carefully consider your decisions.
Thank you,
Greg Chaisson, MD

Reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. More than 357 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through August 16, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 6,789 reports of death (0.0019%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it’s unclear whether the vaccine was the cause. Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem. A review of available clinical information, including death certificates
CDC
The rate of severe cases from the unvaccinated of those under 30 is 1.5 in 100,000 which is 0.0015%. The science doesn't support college kids getting vaccinated, let alone having it forced on them.

We need more critical thinking concerning vaccinating the younger population. Forcing anyone under 30 to get this shot is just criminal. That population has a 99.99+ survival rate of covid!

It's not forced on them. They can choose not to attend school there.

That is utter horseshite.
They were at that number in early July.

Exactly. I'm not anti-vax but I look at the risk factors and for me the vaccine is not worth it. I convinced both my mom and dad to get it because for their risk factor it is worth it. People aren't being reasonable at all with this.

Pathetic. It's a government institution that uses state taxes.

False
They can certainly spread it but are less likely

So you think the administrators of a state run school should be able to force its students to take any experimental drugs they desire, and the students only option is to quit school? What if they need one more semester to graduate? Do they just have to walk away from their degree because some ignorant, racist, piece of f*cking FILTH like William Tate wants to be able to tell them what they must put in their bodies to attend LSU?

If you are gonna try and compare these then you need to compare the deaths after vaxx in people under 30, not all people
I bet that number is under 100 and again those arent necessarily deaths FROM vaxx just deaths AFTER vaxx
Note I am against government mandates for the vaccine

They don't have that statistic but they do have this one:
quote:
Myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. As of August 11, 2021, VAERS has received 1,306 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis among people ages 30 and younger who received COVID-19 vaccine.
There are 53 million 18-29 year olds in the US. 38.3% or 20,299,000 have been vaccinated. This is a 0.0064% rate of myocarditis or pericarditis. I'm sure it's higher than 38% now but even if you double that 20,299,000 number and throw in a few under 18 that have gotten vaccinated the rate of myocarditis and pericarditis is still higher than the rate of severe cases from the virus. Trust the science bro.

So exactly like Covid deaths are tallied.
ps...swine flu vax was shelved after how many deaths?
