And you don't need them to vote for the GOP at high numbers, you just need to take a chunk away from the dems. If the dem black vote drops to 70% instead of the usual 90%, that's a big deal.

No it's not. It's always about what are you going to do for blacks, what are you going to do for Latinos. All groups have their own interests. It's why it won't ever work.
