There's too much value there and too many people with money who want to live there. It will return, but in different form.

That money won't trump the political capital of rebuilding it under socialist ideals. This is what Californians want and they deserve to get it good and hard.

What is the plan? i Don't know what's happening in Maui either. I assume the only people that live in Maui are ultra wealthy people and poor locals. So yea, i bet ultra wealthy people are buying up lots of land.

Not sure about pacific palisades. Looks like they are requiring a certain amount of low income housing to be built in the area with new construction. Which is what those people vote for.

I care in the sense that those MFers will move to another state and spread their cancer.

Not in California unless they change everything and I hope Adam leads a complete revolt. It would take 100 years to rebuild it with probably 10 million permits

it’s Reagan’s dumbass fault for opening the amnesty floodgates.

Nope. Amnesty was not the problem, and was a good feature of that bill. The problem was that the bill Reagan wanted had penalties for employers that hired illegals, but this got stripped out by congress. That allowed the illegal train to keep on coming.

Again, the problem was not the 3 million granted amnesty; it’s the umpteen million that have kept coming because the bill Reagan wanted was denuded by congress of any stopping power.
