Your premise sucks because people are going back to work because the market demands it.
July?
If you want to work you can work.
And the government dole is already rolling out weekly checks to people on welfare.
And the rest not on welfare that lost a few weeks will get checks.
But food shortages, nobody being able to afford food?
Take crazy someplace else. This isn't some Potato or some Russian harvest deliberate famine.
People lived through the great depression and there wasn't anarchy. That's when people truly starved.
We don't need more hyperbole and panic. Stores are open, plenty of food, and people are working. Go sell your chicken little shite someplace else.

I thought many on this site prided themselves on being country boys who can survive. Not doom and gloom anarchy town criers.

We should just all go stand in the unemployment line then, like you said earlier, “Dey pay real gud!”

Are 30 Million currently out of work NOW ?
Posted on 4/1/20 at 1:32 am to bayouman
And I'm sorry if you are out of work.

You're right, we're all gonna starve because that Starbucks job closed down for a month.
Stores have tons of food? Check.
Lost your job? Will get unemployment checks? Check.
It's people like you who create disasters. Irrational fear and lack of understanding. Did the Feds say they were stopping all welfare checks?
Did Supermarkets say they wren't getting any food in for months, years?
Did every employer in America fire their employers yesterday?
Now that's real panic. That's Great Depression. A lot of people still going to work right now and trust me everyone will be going back to work pretty soon...because guess what?
Paycheck. People like them.
Name me a martial law. And name me a food banning. And name me a government program that has cut aid.

You are a worm who is trying to hijack the thread. I’ve said that if this lasts through June (and they have governors who ordered through June) you will see people fricking riot.
Now whatever mountain you want to make out of that molehill go ahead.
I’m done discussing it with you dumb mother frickers.

You are probably one of the ones getting pay from the East to post stupidity. I found the real truth of your fear

Went to an Albertson's in Baton Rouge today. The store manager was out stocking shelves. We spoke. He said he has hired three furloughed waiters to work in his store in the past 2 weeks and he still cannot get everything done. He is looking for more workers. He offered me a job.
We are NOT on the brink of civil unrest/violence. A few folks on here have been itching for civil violence for years or at least their posts sound like that.
By June and July, things will be cranking up again economically. A 4th Federal stimulus/crisis bill will pass in another month and more $$$ will be injected into people's accounts again in late May/June.

I want to see Taysom Hill get a chance to be an NFL starter before we blow it all up, amigos

There may be jobs out there but there are currently 22 states that are unprepared to pay out the 4 months unemployment they have in their unemployment insurance trust funds.
Look, I’m not saying there’s going to be a Civil War; but this can’t go on for much longer.

I don't necessarily think we're heading for major civil unrest but the mental toll this is going to take on people is something I've seen no one in the media talk about.
The constant anxiety, fear of losing a job, fear of not being able to pay bils/put food on the table and being isolated from other people (when its been shown humans need social and physical contact) is going to cause a lot of mental health issues in a country that has been failing in mental health for a long time. It'll be very similar to the rise in mental health issues that we saw in Louisiana and Mississippi after Katrina, but this time it'll be the whole country.
Needless to say, therapists and psychiatrists will have plenty of work in the coming months.
