when most of the wealth wealth is concentrated in an extremely small percentage of the population.
That is such a stupid, stupid, stupid contention. Goodness!
Wealth concentration implies redistributional flow rather than per capita growth.

---

Person A is 'worth' $1,000
Person B is 'worth' $100,000
It's a $99,000 spread.

15 years later, both parties have quadrupled their wealth with ~10%/yr investments. Good for them! Right?

Nope!

Person A is 'worth' $4,000
Person B is 'worth' $400,000
It's a $360,000 spread!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
It's a $360,000 spread!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
Please SOMEONE do SOMETHING!

Person B should never be allowed to have that much more money than Person A!

Ask California and New York” ain’t evidence bubba. The maga slogan is that taxing the wealthy makes them disappear and leaves nobody to fund the country. Establish that proposition. What share the top 1% should contribute is a separate question, and changing the subject does not mend the first one. It just tells the folks watching from the porch you couldn’t keep that horse under you.

Your ignorance to the evidence referred to when I said “Ask California and New York” isn’t a me problem, bubba.

And we all note your refusal to answer my very simple question about your thoughts on the percentage of revenue the top 1% should pay is a tacit admission of your complete ignorance.

You don’t have to think rich people are “bad” in order to realize that a capitalist society and economy can’t function properly when most of the wealth wealth is concentrated in an extremely small percentage of the population.

What percentage of wealth do the 1% possess? What percentage of the tax revenue comes from that same group?

You won’t answer this very simple question because it destroys your argument. Envy is the only real answer to why you far left wackos hate the rich.
