They can't. This forum is a microcosm of why this country is so fricked — not on the level of those communist lunatics on DU, but an example nonetheless.

Everybody wants to put everybody else into neat little "boxes" in order to organize them and decide if they're an enemy or not. Sure there are vocal extremes, and I disagree with them on many fronts, mainly the left (I'm far more right wing than most on this board) but the problem is everyone is calling everyone else out as being those extremes (because they lack basic critical thinking skills) when they're actually far from it, and then from there it turns into a communication breakdown circus sideshow. Consequently, the winner is always the extremes. Rinse and repeat.

We're stuck in the Barack Obama/ Tea Party era where information and propaganda was spoon fed to us from mainstream sources, and what's sad is it shouldn't be that way anymore. Reading this board it sounds like my 75 year old uncles fighting about politics with each other, and not being able to comprehend in any made up universe of theirs how someone can actually be nuanced about a very complex issue.

You're either giving fellatio to Bibi, or a Russian/Iran loving Nazi, and what hilarious is that in reality, none of these inflammatory, sad attempts at defaming others makes any historical sense. It defies logic to a logical mind, but no one is logical anymore.

We have a fabulous track record going back 75 years with overturning regimes in the middle east, and an even better one with spending trillions on supposed weapons of mass destruction. Nothing to see here folks: these situations always turn out for the best. Now go fight all those domestic extremists and here's another stimulus check, and oh by the way, we're expanding the playoffs! Isn't that nice folks?
