The Russian Campaign Was Highly Successful

People on the right like to joke about "muh Russia" and how stupid the whole thing is. But I disagree. I contend that the Russians were actually highly effective in their efforts. Think about it, they have half the country thinking Trump is an agent of Putin.
All they had to do was have a few of their agents spread a salacious piss dossier to Hillary's camp (via Steele who was working for the Russians). Once it got leaked to the press, they knew the useful idiot press would do all the work for them (and they were right).
After Trump won, they began organizing "Not My President" rallies (where tons of ANTIFA retards showed up). The hilarious thing is the #Notmypresident hashtag was actually a Russian invention.
It was genius. It cost them almost nothing and they have essentially shut down our government for a year. They have sparked a special counsel investigation that has cost us untold millions and destroyed the reputation of the FBI. They have successfully propagandized the idiotic left and caused them to go absolutely insane.
I would say mission accomplished.

There’s nothing they really can say. After months of making fun of the idea of Russian influence the pivot is “of course we knew Russians were influencing the election just no collusion”. Kinda like how “the earth isn’t getting warmer” evolved into “of course the earth is warming, climates always changing idiot” as if that was always the position. Ask them why trump refuses to impose sanctions on Russia if you really want some silence.

Russia accomplished exactly what they wanted to accomplish, sowing discontent and planting seeds of doubt in the American electoral system.

IMO the Russians are being successful at what they are trying to accomplish. And that is to pit our country against itself. (Much like you said)
Trump people’s response of “muh Russia” is more about when people say that the only reason Trump got elected was because of Russians. That’s laughable. A few things on Twitter is gonna change the way a 45 year old in a rust belt state votes.
The Russians are doing all they can to lock us down and decrease our world power. But it’s nothing new. If Hillary had won they would still be doing the same thing but it wouldn’t have been this huge ordeal.
They truly didn’t care who won presidency. They just want to see us frick ourselves in the arse with a pineapple.
