This isn't just something that popped up. This comes at request from people outside of Barr.

Durham has been looking into this crap seen Jan.. This is more or less just show Democrats that Barr is not effing around anymore.. Barr can now show them that Trump was spy on.. Reason Rod etc is changing tunes right now.. They are trying save face but Barr i got a feeling is not going care who he puts in jail over the spying.. He will put a lot people in jail over this watch and see

Barr is not removing himself. This is business as usual.
An AG does not personally conduct investigations. He assigns them them and hires peeps to conduct them. Durham is but one of those peeps.
My understanding is, like Horowitz and Huber, Durham has actually been on this assignment perhaps as far back as Sessions though.

I like this....Barr takes heat off himself, brings in another well respected AG to speak of the heinous atrocities committed against America. He is a respected attack dog against corrupt agents and politicians. He is here to start building cases against the criminals.
