But the DNI did act like a clwon.
You're showing why the up/down vote is worthless with those words. People will criticize "popular and well liked person" being criticized, regardless if it's true or not.
If the Biden admin made a similar mistake, and it was called clown shoes, the opposite reaction would occur. That means up and down votes aren't based in quality and are based in popularity and team identification.

You seem to have a problem with the fact that it is how information is received by the board that determines the quality of the information as it pertains to how a discussion is actually going to unfold. I don't know what to tell you on that front, man. "To be is to be perceived. To know one's self is only truly possible through the eyes of another." You can stomp your feet and scream "bUt I wAs CoRrEcT!" until the cows come home, but if nobody wants to hear it, that isn't quality material for discussion. I'm sorry your autism won't allow you to understand that.

No, the point I am proving is that no matter what you think of the accuracy of a statement I may make, it is foolish to say that I am "one of the worst" posters on the board. Especially you when it can be easily shown that the threads and comments I bring here are much more widely accepted for discussion than yours are. And it's really that simple. I'm not trying to be arrogant in saying that, but it is simply true. Yes, you can use the up/downvote thing as a metric to determine this as well. I'm sorry you don't like it, but that is also true.
