What always baffled me is there were cops just a few feet away from Babbitt who were doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop what was happening. Nothing.
Also, a trained cop would not have fired that shot as there were LEO on the other side of the door. A missed shot could easily have killed one of them.
Too much "makes you wonder" crap happened in that entryway for me to ever take big daddy gubmint's version of events at face value.
