The problem for Trump isnt the leaks.

The major problem is that Trump needs to start putting some wins on the board that include congress. Trump is going to need some sort of win aka "The Wall" or replacing "Obamacare in order to be reelected. Trump may very well say screw it and go back to his previous life.

That would require him to have patience, since the Senate was thinking July or August for AHCA and that was before the last week's shitshow

Liberals should have stood and cheered Comey's firing. Instead, they accused the president of treason.
There is nothing he can do to get fair press. Nothing.
He will succeed in the areas where he can get the public to feel his impact directly. In the economy, Healthcare, jobs, the markets, etc...

His base is what got him elected. He could shore up his base and add to those numbers by growing the economy. He is spending too much time defending members of his own team. It would seem that the staff is in need of new leadership. Trump needs somone on the inside that can get things done but still keep people in line. Newt would have been perfect at this.

I could care less about what the polls say about Trump. I voted for him because of his promises on Healthcare and the border. Instead of answering questions on Russia every single day his team should be focusing on what is being done to fix the border and healthcare.

The people want what is unsustainable. You can't have coverage for preexisting conditions, no mandate, low deductibles, and low premiums.

Agendas aside, business leaders have been very vocal about their support Trump's pro business policies. Market bounces have synced with policy moves and business expansion cases have been well documented since the election with credit going to the administration policy goals. The government is running at a surplus since the inauguration, trade defecits are shrinking, and unemployment is at 10 year lows.
You can hate Trump until the cows come home. He's doing well in this regard. If he continues, all of the shite press won't matter.

The people want something passed on the issue. Obama created a dumpster fire bill and still got reelected on it. Republicans are overthinking this issue trying to fix it all at once. Get a base bill passed and make changes to it as needed.
