Many of them are which is why they work so hard to make sure we have a government to over-regulate any competition.

I need a refresher on the concept of Christian Zionism, and perhaps there needs to be some definitional rigor applied to this nebulous term.
I’m pretty sure that I agree with the Patriarchs here, but their statement of concern could have been more detailed.

Long story short: Christian Zionism is a theological and political ideology held by certain Christians (primarily evangelical Protestants) that supports the return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel (historically Palestine) and the establishment/maintenance of a Jewish state there. This support is rooted in interpretations of biblical prophecy, viewing these events as fulfillments of God’s promises and often as prerequisites for eschatological (end-times) events, including the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
