Ya think that might have something to do with the fact that the top 1 percent paid almost twice as much (about 1 Trillion dollars) in taxes as the bottom 90 percent (about 531 Billion dollars) in 2021?

The top one percent pays almost 46% of all income taxes already. That's one percent paying almost half of all the taxes of the whole country.

So a tax cut affects them more than the people at the bottom paying about 2.3% of federal income taxes?

I am an ot poor. In spite of democrats supposedly being the poor peoples choice my family got more taxes back when trump was in office than we do under biden.
