quote:

I, ____________________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

It seems that the oath is contradictory these days. Since the Constitution is first in the oath, it must be more important than the President or officers. This must be the reason for the purge: get people who love the country and Constitution out, and just have order-followers who would turn on their own countrymen.

I just started my first thread on PoliTalk. I guess I'm on the list now.

Remember to always post truths that will frustrate the Fed tasked with monitoring you.

I have administered that oath hundreds of times as an Army officer.

You have a proper understanding of the purpose of the oath.

I think I remember some movies where the "bad guy" is military who gets fed up with not keeping the oath. Maybe The Rock?

Officer's oath (and civilian employees) doesn't include the blurb about appointed officers over them.

This is very basic:

Article VI The Supreme Law
Clause 2 Supremacy Clause
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof
; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

(Note, it's laws, not "regulatory rulings by the EPA" or the opinions of Lori Lightfoot, etc.)
