I do assume that, yes. There are a few enemies, like George Soros, who want to tear the whole thing down, but they are a very small minority. Most of the reason for illegal immigration is incentives.

The lower class in America are disincentivized from working by a generous welfare system. Immigrants are obviously incentivized to come by attractive earnings. Businesses are incentivized to hire the illegals because they get practically indentured servants. And politicians were incentivized to facilitate it because the it brings votes to the democrats and money to the republicans.
