Will be used by the Dems/Left to make sure Trump doesn't run in 2024. You will hear words like "White Privilege" to describe the events at the Capital this week. It will be used to shame the weak arse Republicans from pushing back the Leftist Agenda we will see the next few years. The burning of DC this summer has been forgotten by those Republicans and they will all be hiding under their desks in the respected chambers the next 4 years. Trump is the sole voice in the woods to call them out, they will do anything to shut him out.

No one has damaged Trump, conservatism, or the Republican Party more than Trump himself. Such a pity, too, because there were real achievements under his watch.

Please explain the difference in DC from this week and this summer. Close your eyes and tell us which event had political figures encouraging anarchy and destruction of property. Those who do not call out both events are just a bunch of hypocrites or race baiters.

Honestly, I have a feeling you and all Americans will long for the days of a Trump Presidency by the time the next few years are over.....it will be like the Seinfeld episode of "bizarro world" these freaks will wreck everything good about this country......

"Please explain the difference in DC from this week and this summer."

No need to identify differences. What happened this past summer was appalling, as was what happened at the Capitol. One had the imprimatur of the President of the United States, which will be to Trump's eternal shame.

I have little doubt that, in many ways, things will take a turn for the worse with Democrats controlling the executive and legislative branches--something for which Trump is blameworthy.

And the other had the imprimatur of most everyone on the Left and many Democrats that sit in the building that was attacked this week. So where is the eternal shame ?

Agree he was his own worst enemy.

I’m not saying the media and Dems didn’t unfairly go after him and help bring him down, but he had plenty of chances to rise above and he screwed himself.

Sad, bc his policies are what’s best for the country.

Because he actually thinks he can fix it. Which may be his biggest mistake.

What a dreadful display of "whataboutism". Trump's legacy will, and should, bear the stain of what he helped to bring about and did far too little to halt. The riots of the summer--for which Trump is not to blame--in no way excuse him.
