Exactly that. Anyone with any aircraft experience will tell you if B-1s and B-52s are running missions then they are not concerned with air defenses.

Iran is a huge country . Mountain terrain with 90 million people.
We have a devasting force assembled but they will not be able to remove the regime with air power alone. They need the regular army to flip. If that doesn't happen be ready for mission creep.

They have achieved air superiority across most of southern and western Iran, but areas in eastern and northern Iran still have air defense capabilities in tact. And drone swarms are still being launched from various places across the country.

Apparently he did. But he is wrong. He is retired and is not a part of any of this. Also, CENTCOM officials describe it as localized air superiority. There's a difference in the terms and I think people may not understand the distinction.

Because of the accuracy. It has more to do with where you are striking. The last thing we need is collateral damage. Iran's best defense much like hamas is propaganda to stir up dissent among civilians and other countries opposing these attacks. If we were concerned about air superiority we have other aircraft those munitions just no where near as many.

He said we’ve achieved air superiority, and went on to remark that one could make the argument that “air supremacy” has been achieved, but that was the extent of it. I certainly did not take his commentary to amount to a conclusion re: supremacy. Superiority? Yes, he was pretty definitive on that point.
