Anybody else here work at a company that has been affected by this?

One rumor that has a political lean is that this is a massive cover up between all these corporations and the federal government that involves embezzlement and money laundering.

Might explain all those CEOs that quit and disappeared from the last 2 years.

I do. It's been a real pain for the non-exempt hourly people I supervise. Not such a big deal for the exempt ones.

Had to go back to manual timekeeping and signing paper. Sucks.

Yep. Same here. Stayed at work two hours after hours on Monday manually entering pay for all 25 employees that I supervise. Sucked but I want my guys to get paid correctly and on time

Kronos manages the payroll for a lot of corporations. There was a ransomware attack that shut that system down. So unless these places had a backup installed they had to go back pen and paper logs. Millions of people right now are getting fricked on their pay. Regular pay, overtime, holiday, and vacation pay. My companies big struggle is figuring out overtime pay at the moment. It is one massive clusterfrick at the moment.

Yep, been a pain in the arse, but we got all our employees paid and holiday bonuses out to them. Most had estimated hours for a week and they got over paid. Still doing some clean up on checks, but a new system is in place and people are getting paid. Seems like it will be a few more weeks before it’s up and working again.
