I doubt it. I see kids on the internet referring to anyone over 30 as Boomers.
They really don't know or care about anything that happened before them. I'm generalizing of course but its not too far off.

Drives me crazy when I call in to a conference line at work and the message says to dial the conference code and then press the hashtag or pound button.

I was reading out a password to my son recently and accidentally sound pound instead of hashtag. He was like, “What’s pound? That’s a hashtag.” Just another reason for him to think me old, dumb and ultimately uncool.

I have a former coworker who is a flaming liberal and thinks that people over 40 shouldn't be allowed to vote. He thinks they are racist, homophobic, xenophobes, and have ruined the world.
He's a big Falcon's fan and last fall during the Saints/Falcons week, he tried to start one of those passive aggressive insult threads on Facebook by saying, "Drew Brees pees while sitting down.". His liberal female friends absolutely skewered him for suggesting that a woman couldn't become a Hall-of-Fame quarterback someday. He ended up apologizing profusely.
