Analysis of American history from a generational perspective (i.e. 4 generational types which repeat). Every 4th generation is a "crisis"/life changing situation. Previous 4th turnings/periods of American history would be Revolutionary War, Civil War, Depression/WW 2. He dates this period as starting around financial crisis of 2008.

We're still waiting for the EO on anchor babies. Maybe in this term that EO will be extra awesome after making people wait an additional 8yrs.

One doesn't have to read much of this Thread to see that the basic premise of "The Fourth Turning" holds true.
We called it "the bubble of perception" (C. Castenada, "A Separate Reality") back when we were assessing the possibilities of being a temporal perceptual Entity and exploring said Reality via drug-induced 'altered states'.
The Fourth Turning's essential basis is one of personal perception (character) then moving to a collective perceived reality which forms the particular culture of that time. The difference between war and peace is no small thing. Biblical Wisdom supposes that "where there is no vision, my people die". That is the historical evidentiary basis expressed in TFT.
Bottom line: talk is cheap, and even a two-headed jackass has an opinion. What really forms and transforms personal and collective Perceived Reality and manifest as either peace and prosperity or division, hatred and war are the painful consequences derived from unwise principles and flawed character of people and the greater society.
"The Fourth Turning" is spot on, and we are neck deck in it. And it is highly doubtful that any talk is going to pierce the greater cultural 'bubble of perception' and change the path of our 'Titanic' and calamitous destiny with the 'iceberg' ahead.
Humanity has always moved forward the hard way; "forward" being an essential assumption of a purpose and goal. I suspect and believe that this 'Turning' will be monumental in ways that none before it have. AI, Genetic Engineering, Robotics, Virtual Reality and God only knows what the UFO Alien card holds, all will amp up the consequences dynamic far beyond what many can or even dare to imagine. The Book of Revelation offers a likely scenario, with a good consequence, after the 'Turning' (Second Coming, of Truth/Vision).
Each of us floats around in our personal 'Bubble of Perception'. Perception determines how we 'feel'; Feeling being a matter of the Spirit. IMO, choose Love and get Jesus if that is an option. Otherwise...good luck.
