My views in brief:

1. Smaller government that only does what only government can do. Stay out of social engineering. OF course I’m in favor of low taxes.
2. First amendment advocate
3. Second amendment advocate. I used to be weaker on this, but the summer of love convinced me.
4. Keep a strong military to keep trading lanes open.
5. Crack down on drug abuse by ratcheting up punishment of users.
6. We should not tolerate the level of crime in our cities. More, and longer sentencing.
7. Build more mental institutions and herd the homeless into them. Try to rehabilitate those with prospect but keep the rest off the streets.
8. Eliminate department of education, and states should emphasize phonics and old style mathematics and teach civics and patriotism.
ETA: 9. We should cut the social safety net to the extent that it prevents hunger and homelessness, but otherwise is unpleasant to be a client of it. We should make exceptions for children, giving healthy meals and care that can’t be hijacked by parasitic parents.

I probably left a few things off. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them, but does that list look left wing? Centrist? I think it’s right wing, and leftists think I’m right wing. You still think otherwise? Honestly?
