This thread went straight over y'alls head, which isn't surprising.
About 50x a day for the past decade someone creates a thread announcing that the Obama/Clinton/Deep State is about to be exposed. Y'all get boners everytime Breitbart/gatewaypundit/hannity/zerohedge/billybob's poli-blog posts some crazy arse bullshite. You pounce on mere fragments of a story, misinterpret it, exaggerate its implications and then start sky screaming that this is the one that brings em down!
And yet you're totally blind that you mock others for doing the same. You are just as bad, actually way worse than liberals or people who oppose Trump.
Who knows what the effect of Trump firing Mueller would've been. Perhaps some key Republican leaders would have left him, maybe not. But that fact he wanted to do it shows poor judgment.
The other point of the OP also stands. When stories from Post or Times come out yall cry fake, when it turns out it isn't fake you cry that it doesn't matter. If it actually does matter, you say Clinton/Obama did it too.

That's political posturing and holds no grounds in fact, or law.
The President can fire anyone within the executive branch as well as pardon anyone of crime/or even speculated crimes, even non-American citizens.

I never said that he didn't have the power to. Just that it wouldn't have been prudent. I also think he's scared. Also he can't fire everyone in executive simply because he wants too.
ETA: I also think that's a power the President shouldn't have but does.
If there was a special counsel to investigate something under Obama's term, and it came out that he wanted to fire him. Yall would be losing your god damn minds.

That's debatable. Some scholars have stated that but most disagree.
Even if legally didn't obstruct justice (or technically) or whatever you want to call it, as you said he may have done enough shitty things to be impeached.
